About me
Education
Between September 2004 and May 2007, I graduated from the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education
in Warsaw,
specialization: Social and cultural animation.
The next stage was studying journalism, which I had always dreamed of.
Working with children from Warsaw's Praga district to create a local newspaper
"In the Heart of Praga" inspired me to apply for my dream journalism course.
From September 2009 to April 2011, I studied at the University of Warsaw in the Department of Journalism and Political Science. These were postgraduate studies
in journalism and social communication, specializing in radio journalism.
My professional experiencebeganwith internships and work placements:
Culture Center - Dorożkarnia
Mazovian Center for Culture and Arts
Capital City Center for Cultural Education
National Center for Culture
Civic Initiatives Fund
Remus Theater
From July 2017 to the present, I have been teaching a Polish group called
Domowe Przedszkole (Home Kindergarten). I have always enjoyed working with young children.
During my studies, I was mainly involved in projects aimed at children
and young people who did not have access to cultural activities on a daily basis.
In Zurich, I worked at a local cultural center and co-led a Polish preschool group called Tygryski for two years. The group was a joint initiative of Polish mothers and marked the beginning of my adventure with animating the youngest Polish community.
The idea behind the Polish preschool group
Home Preschool
The main goal of our group is to teach Polish through play, singing, and reading classic Polish children's books.
During the two-hour classes, I want to introduce children to Polish culture and familiarize them with it. Together, we will learn about the traditions
and customs of Poland.
I invite you every Friday to Atelier Academicus
at Waffenplatzstrasse 5, 8002 ZH to participate
in Polish classes.
Małgorzata Mazi
We always start classes at the end of August and finish at the end of June.
During the first
trial classes, children
and parents can participate together. Parents who have enrolled their child in regular classes, please
bring photos of your children, signed with their first and last names (and possibly their date of birth). In addition, please
bring slippers for class
and snacks.
